Yes! Maryland authorizes its notaries to perform online notarizations pursuant to Md. Code Ann., State Gov’t §§ 18-201 et seq.
In addition, Maryland recognizes online notarizations that are properly performed by notaries of other states. The applicable interstate recognition law is Md. Code Ann., State Gov’t § 18-210.
