Notarize For Business Launches -Bring Your Own Notaries onto the Platform
Today is an exciting day for Notarize! Not only is today our second annual Rewired conference, but it also marks the expansion for Notarize For Business, which allows any business or industry to bring their own notaries onto the Notarize platform to complete secure online notarizations and real estate closings.
COVID Drove Demand For a Solution From Thousands of Businesses
Over the course of the pandemic, more than a dozen states expanded authorization or created temporary allowance of remote online notarization, which unlocked a new era of digital transformation for businesses, and thousands of companies asked Notarize for technology for their employees to perform remote online notarizations. We got to work to expedite this to meet the demand. Notarize partnered with a dozen companies to beta test this product over the last few months, including First American Title, and law firm Holland & Knight.
Today, it’s widely available to all businesses.
Notarize for Business empowers a company’s notaries to complete secure online notarizations with a platform that's legally compliant, easy to use, and efficient. With the Notarize platform, it’s easy to invite and train a notary team and businesses can easily manage their teams with performance reporting, ongoing training, and notary commission expiration tracking.
Your Dedicated Team or Notarize’s Network, 24/7
Businesses on the Notarize platform have the choice between their own dedicated notary team or our Notarize Notary Network. Our network of notaries is vetted with the same compliance rigor as an employee notary team, and they are waiting on-demand to complete any notarization requests, 24/7. Additionally, all business transactions are backed by the network of notaries, so, if a company’s in-house notaries can’t fulfill the transaction, a customer will ‘overflow’ to one of the hundreds of notaries in Notarize’s network, available 24/7, 365 days a year. Whether it’s 3 am or 3 pm, we’re available to help.
We’ve seen that COVID accelerated digital transformation by five years in five months, and there are thousands of businesses across all sectors who want and need to sprint forward to meet customer demand and expectations. Online, fully-digital workflows are the way of the future, and the expansion of the Notarize for Business platform allows enterprises to accomplish that instantly. Businesses can bring their own notaries onto the platform or leverage an expansive network of notaries available 24/7 - either way, deals always get done.
How It Works and Why It’s Always Compliant
A business employee logs into Notarize and sends a document to be notarized via a secure email link to the signer. The signer clicks the link and is prompted to prove their identity with knowledge based authentication in the Notarize platform. A notary employee will meet the signer in an online meeting to complete the notarization digitally. Afterward, the completed document is automatically sent to the signer and also stored in the business' account. The platform also automatically stores details of the notarization in a notary journal for record-keeping.
The Notarize platform adheres to remote online notarization laws for businesses with notaries physically located in thirteen states. We manage the legal complexities, so businesses don’t have to.
