How It Works

The Process

2. Verify your identity.

Notarize uses patent-pending forensic analysis to verify government-issued photo IDs and passports. When prompted, you'll capture images of your photo ID using the video capabilities on your computer or phone and then answer a few questions. Notarize will confirm your identity. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to review USPS’ list of acceptable IDs.

After you complete your notarize session, please reach out to iPostal1 via chat, available on their 'Contact Us' page between the hours of 9AM to 5PM EST Monday - Friday to submit your files. Files can also be emailed to FormSupport@iPostal1.com if outside of business hours. Be sure to mention that you notarized through the iPostal1 Landing Page so that the representative is aware of how to properly assist you.

Completed documents are stored in your safe and secure Notarize account if you ever need them in the future. Once you've submitted your form to iPostal1, your documents will be reviewed for completion. Then iPostal will contact your mail center to have your name added as an additional recipient.
