Notarize Welcomes Mixpanel’s Jake Ramey as Vice President of Customer Success

We often talk about how online notarizations help people execute the most important transactions of their lives, but they also impact how entire industries operate. As we continue to work with companies of all sizes, we naturally become collaborators in our partners’ transformation to digital, efficient, customer-centric leaders.

To help us deliver customer excellence at scale, I’m pleased to share that Jake Ramey is joining Notarize as our new Vice President of Customer Success.

Jake comes to Notarize from Mixpanel, a San Francisco-based analytics startup valued at nearly $1B that I’ve long admired [Notarize is also a very happy Mixpanel customer]. Jake launched the customer success team at Mixpanel in 2014 and built the company’s one-to-many and implementation teams, empowering hundreds of customers with the tools and touch points to onboard quickly and drive ongoing value from the product.

Notarize and Mixpanel share a common goal in helping customers transform their operations for the Digital Age. Operating alongside partners with ambitious goals requires a deft touch, and customer success plays a vital role in seeing customers through their digital transformation.

We’ve come an incredibly long way toward educating industries and activating our partners. We can currently onboard a new mortgage lender in just four weeks. This includes providing software and walking through legal approvals with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and others.

And it’s taken more than a year, but any small business can now get started instantly on their own, while any title company can join the same day. This is a testament to the Notarize team and the incredible hard work they’ve done over the past two years.

Each week, dozens of title agencies and hundreds of organizations large and small join the Notarize network. As these numbers continue to grow, it’s now time to scale our efforts to help each and every organization transform their operations.

We’re thrilled to have Jake’s leadership as we enter the next phase of growth here at Notarize.

You have notarization questions, we have notarization answers. While we at Notarize pride ourselves on providing helpful resources (like this blog!) to demystify notarization, we’re not lawyers and don’t give legal advice. Pro tip: always check with your own attorneys, advisors, or document recipients if you have further questions about notarization or digitally notarized docs.

How Seek Business Capital Adopted Online Notarization to Fund the Future of Small Businesses

Of the nearly 30 million small businesses in the United States, about 85% have fewer than 20 employees. The ability to live your dream and provide opportunities for those around you is essential in cultivating the health and well-being of your community.

From small auto repair shops to cupcake businesses, success and failure hinge on the ability to receive the funds needed to run your business. It can also be the difference between a successful small business and one shuttered by a big-name brand.

As we think about funding the success of small businesses across the country, notaries have an important role to play in turning dreams into realities.
