on July 1, 2020

At Notarize, we're proud to play a part in helping signers across the globe realize their dreams – buying a home, starting a business, or planning for the future.
We're constantly refining our product to produce a seamless and more secure signing experience. That's why we're so excited to announce that Kate Brigham has joined as our VP of Product.
And she is ready to spearhead big, important change.
"After my first conversation with CEO Pat Kinsel, I was pretty much hooked," Kate said. "Each successive conversation I had during the interview process got me even more excited about the role, the team, the company, the products and especially the opportunity Notarize has to be an innovative and disruptive force in this industry, at just the right time."
Kate's primary focus will be twofold. First, she'll build and manage a team to design, build, and launch creative solutions that move the business forward. She'll also ensure the team has a shared sense of responsibility and goals, and is delivering on the why.
Notarize's mission is to help people execute the most important transactions of their lives and to make notarization more convenient, secure, and verifiable. Kate will drive that mission forward during a time when remote online notarization is so important to so many people.
Kate brings a diverse professional background to the Notarize leadership team, having worked in a variety of industries and domains including computer gaming, education, healthcare, and food tech.
- At CAST, a non-profit educational research and development organization, Kate worked on software to remove barriers for students with learning differences, as well as to help teachers create and present lessons in new and diverse ways for students with different learning styles.
- At PatientsLikeMe, Kate worked on a data sharing platform for patients with life changing illness. Patients could join for free to connect with other patients like them. This past year, the company launched a new a new product (currently being used to #FeedTheFrontLine) for companies that allows employees to order individually packaged lunches delivered to their office.
We're thrilled to add Kate to the Notarize family, and can't wait to see her drive and creativity firsthand.
