Notarize Welcomes Lisa Kalscheur as Chief Marketing Officer

Today Notarize is thrilled to announce the appointment of Lisa Kalscheur as our first Chief Marketing Officer. Lisa was most recently CMO of Kibo, a growth-stage Vista Equity Partners company, where she led marketing during a period of record growth. Lisa has a long history of building high-performing marketing teams for technology companies such as Monetate, NewsCred, and AppNexus. 

Lisa joins Notarize at an important and key moment. In the last 18 months, the world rushed to digitize, and transactions previously conducted in-person moved online. As a result, Notarize’s business skyrocketed more than 600%, and we were named #114 on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Companies and we continue to experience rapid adoption across real estate, financial services, and other industries. In her new role at Notarize, Lisa will oversee an expansive marketing function that includes brand, product marketing, performance marketing, demand generation, communications, and eCommerce. Lisa’s leadership will be pivotal as Notarize scales to meet the demands of current and future customers, from individuals to global enterprises.

In her previous roles, Lisa has delivered company revenue by building and leading diverse, agile teams of top-performing marketers. She has led several companies in scaling to growth and acquisition. Lisa led Monetate as CMO through its acquisition by Kibo’s Vista Equity Partners, scaled AppNexus as VP of Marketing, acquired ultimately by AT&T, and led ad tech pioneer Quigo as Head of Marketing during its acquisition by AOL. 

Lisa frequently speaks at industry conferences on building company and customer brands, as well as organizational culture initiatives including women in the workplace and DEI.
